Key Responsibilities:

• Promote Elara Carings philosophy, mission statement and administrative policies to ensure quality of care.
• Perform direct physical therapy services in accordance with accepted standards of practice as certified by the patients physician.
• Follow and verify the Plan of Care established by the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Provide patient and caregiver education on therapy home program and safe use of assistive devices.
• Adhere to State Practice Act guidelines and report changes in status to the supervising PT.
• Work in a physically demanding, high-stress environment requiring lifting and transferring patients.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited physical therapy assistant program approved by the American Therapy Association.
• Current, unrestricted PTA license valid for the state of work.
• 6+ months experience preferred.
• Ability and willingness to travel within coverage area (up to 50%).
• Valid drivers license, dependable vehicle, and current auto insurance required.
