• Looking for a Part-time (~10-29 hours/week) candidate!
• This is a Monday - Friday position, with occasional weekend shifts

• Hours of operation are Monday - Friday, 8:30 am - 5:30 pm, Saturday, 9:00 am - 12:00 pm & Closed Sunday.

• High School Diploma or equivalent GED required

Position Summary

The Pharmacy Cashier is responsible for assisting with all day-to-day customer service and reporting to the manager on duty.

• Completes cash transactions accurately and according to company procedures
• Assists pharmacy staff with checking orders and invoices, marking and putting away merchandise in the proper location
• Assists customers with locating items on sale floor
• Answers customer questions or directs them to proper person who can answer question correctly
• Assists or places filled prescriptions in proper location
• Cleans shelves and inventory neatly
• Assist in checking inventory for out-of-date product
• Assists in preparing for daily deliveries
• Answers phones and forwards calls to proper individuals
• Assists in pharmacy workflow if required by pharmacy staff
• Assists and receives new prescriptions physically from patients
• Work the drive-up window as needed, if applicable
• Understands and adheres to HIPPA compliance policies
• Participate and engage with weekly/daily touchpoint meetings then follow through on what was discussed
• Engage with customers on all marketing material instructed by corporate
• Performs assigned duties requested by either Pharmacy Manager or Store Manager

Physical Requirements & Work Demands

• The ability to work up to 40 hours per week
• The ability to maintain a flexible schedule including early morning, evening, and weekend hours if required by workflow
• In a typical 8-hour day lift or carry up to 25 pounds
• In a typical day stand up to 8 hours
• In a typical 8-hour day spend up to 2 hours on telephone
• This position will be working in a pharmacy setting
• This position will be standing and walking position for up to 8 hours per day
