Part-Time Bilingual Optician/Clinical Assistant – Los Angeles, CA 

Schedule: 2–3 days per week

Compensation: $26 per hour + mileage reimbursement & travel pay

About The Opportunity

Comprehensive Mobile Care (CMC) is seeking a bi‑lingual (Spanish/English) Optician / Medical Assistant to support senior outpatient clinics across Los Angeles County .

There are also opportunities to cross-train in additional specialties such as audiology and podiatry (excluding dental).

What You'll Do

• Assist the optometrist with patient intake, visual screenings, and basic diagnostic testing

• Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients, including bi‑lingual (Spanish/English) communication

• Assist with eyewear selection, adjustments, fittings, and basic repairs

• Set up, break down, and maintain portable optometry equipment

• Follow sterilization, safety, and infection control protocols

• Complete basic documentation, charting, and administrative tasks

• Represent CMC with professionalism, compassion, and reliability

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as an Optician or Optometric Technician preferred

• Medical Assisting experience is a plus

• Bi‑lingual proficiency required

• Experience serving geriatric or senior populations preferred

• Strong understanding of OSHA and infection control standards

• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license required

• Able to lift and transport equipment (typically 25–50 lbs.)

• Must be able to pass a federal background check and drug screening

• Professional, punctual, and able to work independently

• A heart for serving seniors and underserved communities

You will rotate between established senior outpatient clinics across  Los Angeles County & Surrounding Cities:

• Los Angeles

• Reseda

• Compton

• Alhambra

• Anaheim

• Carson

• Long Beach

• North Hollywood

• Pasadena

• Rosemead

• Glendale

• Downey
