Job Title: Operating Room Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (06:45 - 15:15) Experience: Minimum 4 years of experience required License: South Carolina license or Compact license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS Must-Have: No first-time travelers accepted. Experience in various surgical procedures is required. Call required for weekdays from 15:00 - 07:00 based on staff rotation. Floating to other units may be necessary based on facility needs. Description: The Operating Room Registered Nurse will work a day shift, primarily from 06:45 to 15:15. Weekends are required typically every 4th weekend with weekday coverage. The nurse will be on-call during specified hours per rotation. The position requires a minimum of 4 years of nursing experience, specifically in an Operating Room setting. Candidates must have an active South Carolina license or a Compact license. Certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS are mandatory. The role may involve floating to other units depending on staffing requirements. Travelers should be prepared to assist during emergency response situations during hurricane season. All requested time off needs to be submitted at the time of application. Compliance requirements must be fulfilled prior to the start date. Candidates must have experience with a variety of surgical procedures.
