Summary

• Saturday-Sunday-holiday could and or may be required.
• Must be able to work in all types of weather. cold-hot-snow-ice-rain-wind.
• Must be able to lift and carry a minimum of 50 pounds upstairs or on catwalks.
• Must be able to shovel material for extended periods of time.
• Must be willing to train on other positions.
• Must be safety oriented and self motivated.
• Safe worker, SAFETY FIRST.
• Ensure safety guidelines are followed at all times.
• Communicate with coworkers and supervisors to ensure efficient and safe operations.
• Operate and maintain a wheel loader to load and transport material
• Inspect the machine before and after use to ensure it is in good operating condition.
• Clean and maintain, including checking fluids, lubricating parts, and replacing worn or broken parts.
• Report any issues or needed repairs to maintenance personnel.
• Must be willing to learn to operate other mobile and crushing equipment on site and other forms of equipment as well as other tasks associated with the mining operation.
• Obtaining and maintaining MSHA training for working in quarry/open pit environment, following all Federal MSHA regulations while working on mine site.
• Must be capable of using 3 points of contact when climbing up and down ladder to enter and exit cab: Frequently
• Be able to demonstrate basic controls and safe operation of equipment. Perform work site inspections prior to and after work is completed. Work safely with other team members and ability to recognize and report hazards.
• Assist with other duties as assigned.
