Contract | Full-Time | Nights | Onsite | 36–48 Hours per Week

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver coordinated nursing care for an assigned group of patients in accordance with established standards of care and the nursing process
• Supervise and direct the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff within the emergency department
• Coordinate patient care with other disciplines utilizing critical thinking, professional discretion, and independent judgment
• Provide triage, treatment, and support for trauma and emergency patients of all ages in an acute care setting
• Assess and prioritize patient needs in a fast-paced emergency environment

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification from an approved vendor
• AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS certification
• AHA-PALS or ARC-PALS certification

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
• Prior experience in an acute care facility setting
