As a Security Officer Dispatch Specialist in Maiden, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Dispatcher supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will coordinate security-related communications, monitor incoming information, and help direct response resources as needed. You will maintain clear records, support access control activities, and provide exceptional customer service while helping to deter incidents. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and/or contractors at a technology-focused location by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Receive, prioritize, document, and dispatch routine and urgent service requests, alarms, incidents, and critical communications to appropriate personnel.
• Monitor communications systems, cameras, access control alerts, and other security-related technology; maintain accurate logs, incident records, and dispatch documentation.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating communications to designated contacts and emergency responders when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, reporting observed security-related concerns and maintenance issues in accordance with site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess three or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or a college degree.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
