A very busy, modern dental practice looking for a full-time receptionist. We are a state-of-the-art facility located in the Charlotte/Harrisburg area. We are seeking a strong team player with a passion for dentistry to help provide our patients with excellent customer service. Our dental practice prides itself on treating our patients as family to ensure every patient visit is outstanding. ***Must have experience with Dentrix.*** Please email resume.

Overview

· Prior experience in a dental or medical office setting is required

· Greet and check-in patients using front desk procedures

· Provide exceptional customer service by maintaining professional phone etiquette and addressing patient inquiries

· Present treatment plans with patients, answer patient questions, check out patients including collecting payments and scheduling appointments

· Verify patient insurance, billing, scheduling, and other front office duties

· Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation review and data entry

· Must be professional and have a professional image

· Experience with Dentrix and must be skilled with computers (paperless office)

· Working with patient communication system (Demandforce) which includes text messaging and appointment requests

· Ensure compliance with HIPAA standards for health information management and patient confidentiality

· Always maintain a clean reception area
