Backend QA Tester (Healthcare Data Focus) - Must have strong data and Tableau reporting testing experience.
We are seeking a Backend QA Tester with strong health plan/payer experience to support data validation efforts as part of a migration from Facets to HealthRules Payor (HealthEdge HRP) .
Key Responsibilities
- Perform backend and data testing , ensuring accuracy and integrity of healthcare data
- Validate data migrations and transformations (Facets HRP)
- Write and execute complex SQL queries for data validation and troubleshooting
- Test and validate APIs and backend integrations
- Validate reporting outputs in Power BI, Tableau, and MicroStrategy
- Work closely with data, development, and business teams in an Agile environment
Required Skills
- 5+ years of QA experience (backend/data-focused)
- Strong experience in health plan/payer systems
- Hands-on with HealthEdge (HRP preferred)
- Advanced SQL skills
- Experience with Snowflake or similar data platforms
- Experience with API testing tools (Postman, etc.)
- Reporting validation experience ( Power BI, Tableau, MicroStrategy )
Nice to Have
- Experience with Facets to HealthEdge migration
- ETL/data warehousing knowledge
