Essential functions include:Responsible for monitoring budgets, organizing daily tasks to meet milestones, understanding IMS schedule, and driving the overall performance on aircraft paint projects.Establishing and tracking day-to-day production requirements that includes budget, safety, quality, and performance.Team will consist of between eight to twelve hourly mechanics.Ability to interpret Government, FAA, and Company Aviation Safety regulations.Ability to read/interpret mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and general aviation knowledge.Must possess a working knowledge of military, commercial, or general aviation aircraft.Must possess ability to perform analytical analysis and apply risk mitigation techniques.Willingness and ability to be flexible to work off shifts and overtime to meet business requirements.Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior aircraft related experience.Must be a US citizen.Minimum of 2 years supervisorial experience with general aviation, military aircraft, or manufacturing.Preferred Additional Skills:Proficient in Microsoft Suite.Boeing Wide/Narrow body, Gulfstream platform experience.VIP paint application experience.Lean or Six-Sigma Training.Experience in conflict resolution, team building, and coaching skills.L3Harris Technologies is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
