Position Summary

Tolson Appliance Center is seeking a friendly, dependable, and organized

Appliance Sales & Administrative Associate

to join our team. The primary responsibility of this position is appliance sales and customer service; however, as a locally owned small business, team members also assist with administrative duties and general store operations as needed. We are looking for someone who takes ownership of the customer experience from the initial sale through delivery and installation. Responsibilities

Assist customers in selecting major appliances based on their needs, budget, and installation requirements. Explain product features, differences, warranties, promotions, rebates, and financing options. Prepare quotes, enter sales orders, process payments, and maintain accurate customer records. Follow up with customers on quotes, special orders, backorders, and delivery status. Verify model numbers, dimensions, specifications, pricing, and installation requirements before orders are finalized. Coordinate with delivery, installation, service, and warehouse personnel. Answer phones, respond to emails, and assist customers with questions and order status. Assist with invoices, purchase orders, filing, receiving paperwork, and other administrative duties. Maintain showroom displays, pricing, signage, and promotional materials. Assist with inventory counts and merchandise receiving when needed. Help resolve customer concerns professionally and promptly. Assist coworkers and management with other store responsibilities during busy periods or employee absences. Qualifications

Retail sales, customer service, or administrative experience preferred. Appliance experience is helpful but not required. Strong communication and customer-service skills. Detail-oriented and comfortable working with computers and sales systems. Ability to manage multiple customers and orders at the same time. Dependable, professional, and willing to learn. Comfortable working both independently and as part of a small team. What We Expect
