Job Title: Child Psychiatric Registered Nurse


Location: Louisville, KY


Pay: $2,041.20 weekly


Shifts: Rotating, every third weekend


Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced Child Psychiatric Registered Nurse for a travel assignment in Louisville, KY. This role involves providing care to adolescent patients in a dynamic psychiatric environment. The ideal candidate will have prior travel experience and be adept at managing a variety of mental health conditions.

Key Responsibilities of the Child Psychiatric Registered Nurse

• Deescalate and manage aggressive behaviors and peer altercations
• Administer IM injections and manage restraint beds
• Monitor and address increased agitation proactively
• Manage multiple escalated patients and events simultaneously
• Support therapeutic programs and collaborate with case managers and therapists

Requirements of the Child Psychiatric Registered Nurse

• BLS and CPI certification (obtained on-site)
• 6 months of psychiatric nursing experience
• Experience with deescalation techniques and physical holds
• Comfortable floating throughout the facility
• Ability to perform patient transitions safely from standing to seated to supine positions
