The ideal candidate anticipates customer needs and provides solutions that meet current and future requirements. Responsibilities Day‑to‑day drilling and pullback of various sized conduits for outside plant fiber networks. Work primarily under master service agreements with telecom carriers and regional utilities. Handle new builds, maintenance, and restoration in rural and metro areas; scope varies by job. Locate underground utilities and monitor the locating process during drilling. Read plans and exercise good judgment in the field. Collaborate with supervisors, managers, and crew members. Perform all duties adhering to company safety procedures and policies. Requirements Minimum of 3 years operating drill and/or locating equipment. Minimum of 2 years operating Ditch Witch and Vermeer drilling equipment (JT5 / D10x15). Ability to work in limited confines such as crawl spaces. Ability to work in proximity to moving mechanical parts. Must be able to work outdoors year‑round in all weather conditions. May be exposed to the risk of electrical shock, radiation, and vibration. Potential to work more than 40 hours per week and outside normal business hours, including holidays, evenings, and weekends as business demands. Benefits Weekly pay (average $1,200 per week).
