- Ensure loan files comply with lender instructions, closing conditions, and applicable state and federal lending regulations
- Identify policy exceptions, documentation gaps, and risk issues, and provide clear, practical guidance to resolve them
- Assist with post-closing reviews and remediation efforts, including curing missing signatures, recording issues, or other documentation defects
- Review UCC filings and security interests, including Article 9 considerations related to perfection and priority
- Support a high-volume loan review workflow with strict deadlines and standardized processes
- Active attorney license in good standing in one of the following jurisdictions: FL (most preferred), GA, PA, MA, NY, TX, CO, CA, DE, IL, VA, or DC will be considered
- Must currently reside and complete work in one of the jurisdictions listed above
- 3+ years of lender-side commercial real estate or real estate finance experience
- Resume must clearly demonstrate experience performing high-volume lender-side loan review, including document review, title and survey analysis, UCC review, and transactional or post-closing support
- Prior Big Law or large law firm experience is strongly preferred
- Excellent legal writing, issue-spotting, analytical, and risk assessment skills with exceptional attention to detail and proactive communications
- High level of technical proficiency with document management systems and remote workflows
- Proven ability to manage deadlines meticulously while working independently in a fully remote environment
- Employment Type: Full-time W2 contract
- Pay Rate: $50.00 to $85.00 per hour, depending on experience
- Duration: Long-term / indefinite, based on continued workflow & performance alignment
- Schedule: Eastern Time Zone business hours
- No concurrent legal work permitted
- Extensive conflicts review, references, and a background check required before start
