Job Title

Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

Location

Lincoln, NE | Emergency Department

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights, Every Other Weekend

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department setting
• Care for all ED patient types, including adult and pediatric populations
• Perform assessments, interventions, and documentation in accordance with department protocols
• Participate in a mandatory orientation that includes a pass/fail open-book skills exam requiring a minimum score of 90%
• Adhere to facility dress code: Navy Blue Scrubs required
• Comply with facility fingernail policy: artificial nails are prohibited in all patient care departments

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in good standing
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• PALS certification required
• Prior Emergency Department experience required
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
• Must not be currently employed (full-time, part-time, or PRN) at any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity Health

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience caring for both adult and pediatric emergency patients
• Familiarity with high-acuity emergency department workflows and protocols
