Bankruptcy Specialist I

Location: Dallas, TX Area | Onsite
Pay - $19.00 – $21.00/hour (Based on Experience)
Shift - Monday–Friday | 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM

Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire

ROLE IMPACT

As a Bankruptcy Specialist I, you'll play a critical role in the early stages of the bankruptcy process by gathering, validating, and organizing essential mortgage and financial information. Your attention to detail and commitment to accuracy will directly support legal compliance, client satisfaction, and operational success.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

• Review bankruptcy dockets and extract critical case information
• Validate and reconcile data to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Obtain, review, and redact mortgage collateral documents as required
• Procure and verify financial records including payment histories, escrow statements, invoices, and related mortgage documentation
• Track outstanding items and conduct follow-up activities to obtain missing records and information
• Navigate multiple systems and applications to support workflow requirements
• Maintain quality standards while meeting production timelines and deadlines

WHAT YOU BRING

• 3–5 years of professional work experience required
• 2+ Years experience in legal services, accounting, billing, mortgage servicing, banking, or other professional office environments preferred
• Mortgage banking experience
• Strong data entry and reconciliation skills with exceptional attention to detail
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and 10-key data entry
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt in a fast-paced environment
