ITAD Technician (IT Hardware Testing & Refurbishment)

Location: Ontario, CA
Pay: $20.00 per hour
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Overtime and occasional weekend work may be required.

About the Position

We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented, and bilingual (English/Spanish) ITAD Technician to join our Operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for testing, evaluating, repairing, and preparing IT equipment—including desktops, laptops, servers, printers, and networking devices—for resale.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with computer hardware in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Test and evaluate desktops, laptops, servers, printers, and networking equipment.
• Perform basic troubleshooting and hardware diagnostics.
• Follow product-specific testing procedures and quality standards.
• Report equipment issues and unusual findings to the Team Leader.
• Maintain and properly use testing equipment.
• Meet company quality, safety, and environmental standards.
• Assist other departments as needed.
• Lift and move equipment up to 50 pounds.
• Follow all warehouse safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Must be bilingual (English/Spanish).
• High school diploma or GED required.
• A+ Certification is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of computer hardware and basic troubleshooting.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Team player with a positive attitude.
• Must successfully pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Work Environment

• Professional warehouse setting.
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, crouching, and lifting.
• Ability to work in a warehouse with varying temperatures and occasional loud noise.
• Close attention to detail and ability to identify hardware issues.

Physical Requirements

• Lift up to 50 lbs.
• Stand and walk for extended periods.
• Reach, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl as needed.
• Good close and distance vision with the ability to distinguish colors and adjust focus.

Travel

Occasional travel with a company driver may be required to perform IT server-related duties at customer locations.
