Overview Job Title: Youth Care Worker We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Youth Care Worker to join our team and provide support and supervision to young individuals in our care. As a Youth Care Worker, you will play a vital role in guiding young individuals towards personal growth and development while ensuring their well-being and safety. Key Responsibilities Provide direct supervision and care to young individuals in a residential setting. Develop and maintain positive and supportive relationships with youth to promote their emotional and social development. Implement and monitor individualized care plans, setting goals that promote academic, behavioral, and personal growth. Organize and lead recreational and educational activities that enrich the lives of youth. Ensure a safe and structured environment by following established procedures and protocols. Collaborate with colleagues, educators, and other professionals to address the needs of youth and coordinate services. Facilitate open communication by listening to the concerns and needs of youth and responding appropriately. Maintain accurate records and documentation as required. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications or degree in social work, psychology, or a related field is preferred. Previous experience working with youth or in a similar care setting is highly desirable. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with young individuals. Ability to handle challenging situations with composure and professionalism.
