Logistics Specialist III

As a Logistics Specialist III, you prepare our logistics documentation to assist in establishing the pipeline for spares, tools, test equipment, materials, and related manuals needed are available to be deployed and stocked. Youll be responsible for routing, documenting, and coordinating shipping logistics, maintaining our records of equipment, components, repair parts and related manuals, and tracking logistics materials and parts for proper allocation of our storage facilities. Youll ensure shipping activities adhere to state, federal, and global regulations and import/export requirements. Qualifications You Must Have High school diploma or GED equivalent and typically 4 or more years of relevant experience A higher level degree may substitute for experience Related experience may be considered in lieu of required education Microsoft Word and Excel skills Understanding and experience with the practical application of Inventory and Supply Chain/Logistics principles and techniques Progressive experience with inventory databases Qualifications We Prefer Familiarity with AvPro or similar aviation maintenance tracking systems HazMat Training/Certification Ability to operate a Forklift Experience with shipping databases, such as FedEx, DHL, UPS Current Commercial Drivers License (CDL) and clean driving record Understanding of Shelf Life Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry, the US Department of Defense or US Military This posting will be open for application for a minimum of 5 days and may be extended based on business needs. Estimated Starting Salary Range: $29.03 - $39.92. Compensation varies depending on a wide array of factors, such as candidates key skills, relevant work experience, and education/training/certifications. The disclosed range estimate may be adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.
