As a Culinary Artisan, you play an integral role in curating an unforgettable dining experience, leaving an indelible mark on the palates of our patrons.

Please note that this is not an exhaustive list of everything that needs to be done. Within the Auberge family, our people always find new ways to look after the business, their guests, and their teammates. Within this, the key responsibilities for this position are:

1. Orders supplies as necessary by initiating requisitions and fills out Engineering work orders as necessary to maintain the best possible physical plant.
2. Check function sheets and restaurant requisitions and prepare a list of tasks to be accomplished that day.
3. Prepare determined mise en place for the day.
4. Practices good stock rotation, storage, and handling of goods to minimize waste and spoilage.
5. Assists in supervision and/or training of other cooks.
6. Keeps work area clean at all times and adheres to all standards of health, safety, hygiene, and sanitation.
7. Reporting of suspicious persons in the kitchen.
8. Organize outlet orders and needs.

The starting range for this position is $22.50. This is the pay rate for this position that Stanly Ranch reasonably expects to pay. Decisions regarding individual salaries will be based on a number of factors, such as experience and education.

Qualifications:

• Formal training or education in culinary arts, with a focus on pastry and baking techniques.
• One year Cook III level or previous Cook II experience.
• Proficient in various baking methods, including dough preparation, pastry shaping, and decorating techniques.
• Strong focus on precision and detail to ensure consistency and high-quality presentation of pastries and desserts.
