Operating Room Registered Nurse Opportunity MLR is seeking a skilled and dedicated Operating Room (OR) Registered Nurse to join a growing healthcare team near Colorado Springs, CO! This is an excellent opportunity to work in an established medical facility, focusing on delivering high-quality care for patients undergoing surgical procedures in an acute setting. OR Registered Nurse Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and management of the operating room for surgical procedures.
- Provide direct patient care before, during, and after surgery, ensuring comfort and safety.
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical teams to deliver efficient and effective care.
- Prepare and maintain surgical instruments, ensuring sterility and readiness.
- Monitor patient vital signs and administer medications as directed by physicians.
- Document patient care and progress according to hospital protocols.
- Active Colorado Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in an OR setting.
- BLS and ACLS certification required.
- Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on patient safety.
