We never rely entirely on the computer to check for safety; we always use an expert for the final check. That's you. You'll review prescriptions for potential drug interactions, correct dosing, patient allergies or anything that looks unusual in your opinion.To excel in this role, you must enjoy learning new concepts and researching information in real-time to provide solutions for our patients. You should also continually look for ways to go above and beyond for your patients, delivering an exceptional experience along with exceptional care.Document clinical activities and interventionsInterpret medication orders and/or prescriptions for drug interactions, appropriate drug selection and appropriatenessEnters and verifies the order or prescription into the computer system, labels, and dispenses medicationsVerifies and checks medications prepared by other pharmacy personnel.Communicates drug information to patients and health professionalsResolves drug related problems by consulting with other health care professionals to achieve appropriate patient outcomesRequired:Graduate of College of PharmacyCurrent Minnesota Board of Pharmacy RegistrationPreferred:Three years of experience working in a pharmacy environmentIn Central Minnesota you'll find quality health care as near to you as CHI St. Gabriel's Health in Little Falls, part of CommonSpirit Health.
