Join us and play an important part on our incredible team!**What you get to do:*** Ensure a safe environment for all ambassadors, guests, and animals* Responsible for the development of OJT’s and ambassadors by providing training, feedback and coaching.* Ensure compliance to all state/federal regulations, park policies, and department procedures* Create and maintain unit’s team rotation grid* Maintain the highest level of cleanliness in the park, conduct quality inspections of assigned areas, and follow up on any opportunities to improve* Respond to guest and ambassador needs* Report to Supervisors and Managers regarding the status of projects* Oversee completion of daily opening and closing procedures* Utilize problem solving skills to ensure positive guest resolutions as needed* Oversee assigned operating area* Ensure strict adherence to all cash handling procedures* Perform other miscellaneous tasks as required**What it takes to succeed:*** High school diploma or equivalent preferred* Leadership experience preferred* Possession or pursuit of a bachelor’s degree preferred* Excellent computer skills, ability to work multiple selling systems preferred* Previous cash handling experience preferred* Valid state driver’s license and be able to obtain a company driver’s license* At least 18 years old* Ability to to complete provided CPR/AED training/certification* Ability to be trained and certified at all attractions* Excellent written and verbal communication skills* Comfortability speaking in front of large groups of guests and ambassadors* Ability to remain calm and professional during challenging situations* Working knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications* Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time* Ability to bend and stoop to assist in cleaning the park* Ability to lift 25 pounds and push/pull 50 pounds* Ability to able to climb stairs* Ability to walk in sand* Ability to work comfortably outdoors at heights up to 150 feet (350 ft for Skytower)* Ability to assist in ride testing by riding all park rides* Ability to operate in a cash handling environment* Three full days of open availability* Availability to work varying shifts or hours based on park hours; i.e. flexibility to work days, nights, weekends, holidays, and until 3:00 a.m. for seasonal eventsThe perks of the position:* Paid Time Off* Complimentary Park Tickets and Passes* Park Discounts on Food and Merchandise* Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance* 401K Retirement plan* Voluntary Insurance* Life Insurance* Disability Benefits* Tuition Reimbursement* Dependent and Health Care Flexible Spending Accounts* Employee Assistance Program* Legal Assistance Plan**EEO Employer:**SEAWORLD PARKS & ENTERTAINMENT IS AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER.
