Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nurse Specialty: ICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 4x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years ICU nursing experience, including charge experience. License: Valid State License (pending licenses accepted) Certifications: BLS, ACLS required Must-Have: Epic experience, Care of ventilated patients, Continuous IV sedation, ICP monitoring, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Procedural sedation administration/monitoring, Pulmonary artery line/Swan Ganz monitoring, Level 1 trauma experience. Description: Cross posting for a float position to various ICU and intermediate care units. Floating to Medical ICU, Thoracic Cardiovascular ICU, Coronary Care Unit, Surgical Trauma ICU, Neuro & Neurosurgery ICU, Critical Care and Intermediate Care Special Pathogens Unit, Thoracic Cardiovascular Intermediate Unit, Surgical Trauma Intermediate Unit, Neuro & Neurosurgery Intermediate Unit, and ED Boarders. Guaranteed hours can offer 36 or 48 hours per week. Will work every other weekend and every other holiday. Time off cannot be approved for specific dates, including the 4th of July and between specified July dates. Must adhere to float policies. Background in care for ventilated patients and experience with critical care protocols is preferred. Candidates will float within their scope of practice within the facility. Required charting experience includes proficiency in Epic. References from previous employers are required. BSN is preferred.
