Job Description: A cardiac catheterization lab nurse has the primary function of performing work using the heart catheterization tool. This catheter is inserted into the arteries of the heart and used to diagnose heart conditions and sometimes used to provide treatment for certain heart conditions. They also assist physicians with the implant of pacemakers and defibrillators in patients who are suffering from heart conditions and heart disease. Physicians performing angioplasties, valvuloplasties, stent placements, cardiac catheterization, and other catheterization procedures often employ the assistance of a cardiac catheterization lab nurse.

Cancellation Policy: Pre-start cancellations: No penalty for greater than 21 days notice. For cancellation less than 21 days option to provide a qualified replacement available for the original start date or pay a fee equal to one-week GWW at current bill rate. For post starts cancellations: No penalty for greater than 21 days notice. For cancellation less than 21 days once the clinician has started their assignment subcontractor can either provide a qualified replacement available at client's next NEO or pay a fee equal to two-week GWW at current bill rate. If Client cancels a prescheduled shift or reduces the work hours of a HCP below the minimum guaranteed number of hours as set forth in Section III.c (i & ii), then the Client shall be billed for such week at the minimum guaranteed number of hours set forth in Section III.c (i & ii); provided, however, that if such HCP is working a Monday through Friday schedule and there is a nationally-recognized holiday that falls on a weekday of such week, then, for such week, Client shall only be billed for the actual hours worked by such HCP rather than the minimum guaranteed number of hours set forth in Section III.c (i & ii). Guaranteed Hours: Client has the option to place HCP on low census thirty-six (36) hours per thirteen (13) week assignment without charge. Low census hours may be spread out as needed.
