IT Technician (Level 1 Help Desk)

About the Role We are looking for an IT Technician to support technical operations at our Hammond location. This role blends warehouse responsibilities with Level 1 help desk support, onsite technical work, and basic cabling. Key Responsibilities Handle shipping/receiving and assist with inventory management Provide Level 1 help desk support, including basic troubleshooting of hardware, software, and network issues Perform onsite installs, troubleshooting, and general technical support Run and terminate network cabling (e.g., CAT6) Assist with various operational and technical tasks as assigned Travel occasionally for onsite work at other locations Requirements Qualifications ? Experience or familiarity with Level 1 help desk support Basic understanding of IT systems, hardware, and troubleshooting Experience with cabling or willingness to learn Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Ability to lift and move equipment as needed Valid driver's license and ability to travel when required
