PCU/Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN)We are seeking a skilled and dedicated PCU/Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team for a travel assignment. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a progressive care unit, monitoring patients' conditions, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure the best outcomes for our patients.Position DetailsDuration: 13 WeeksDay Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM (3 days per week)Weekend Shifts: Must work 6 weekend shifts within a 6-week scheduleFloating: This is a float pool position; candidates must be willing to float between departments and multiple locations within the regionResponsibilitiesMonitor and assess patients in the PCU/Telemetry setting, ensuring timely and appropriate interventions.Administer medications and manage intravenous (IV) therapies, including cardiac drips.Utilize and maintain proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems, specifically Cerner.Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.Provide education and support to patients and families regarding care plans and health management.Safely handle equipment and technology related to patient monitoring and treatment.QualificationsActive Arizona Registered Nurse (RN) license.BLS and ACLS certifications are required.A minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, specifically in a PCU or Telemetry unit.Familiarity with TAVRs (Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacements) and Watchman Mitra Clips is preferred.Ability to manage a patient load with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 6:1.Flexible to float as necessary between various departments and locations.Additional InformationScrub Color: Any ColorClient Details Address 6200 N.
