Extruder Operator

Job Description

Do you have experience in extrusion? Luttrell Staffing Group in Marion is currently hiring for Extruder Operator for local established company.

Job details for Extruder Operator:

• Run extruders maintaining correct settings

• Bundle and stack moulding as it is extruded

• Monitor color, extrusion rate, profile configuration and piece/bundle count.

• Perform own tooling change outs and die cleaning and grade own rejects

• Schedule: 12-hour rotating swing shifts (8am-8pm and 8pm-8am)

• Pay rate: $19/hr

• Long-term

• Benefits (Medical, Holiday Pay, Vacation Pay)

• Paid weekly

Job requirements for Extruder Operator:

• Must have at least 6 months of experience

• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals

• Ability to compute rate, ration, and percentages

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or one to three months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience

• Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 lbs and frequently lift and/or move up to 50 lbs

• Ability to push a 900 lb buggy approximately 200 ft, six to eight times a day

• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, peripheral vision and the ability to adjust focus
