Join our team as a Warehouse Worker, where you will play an essential role in the delivery and installation of temporary heating and cooling units. You will also work collaboratively in our warehouse, ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of equipment.

Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively with clients to ensure satisfaction.
• Complete deliveries of heating and cooling units promptly and efficiently.
• Clean and maintain units and warehouse facilities.
• Install units at client locations as required.
• Assist in general warehouse maintenance and organization.

Essential Skills

• Experience with driving and delivery services.
• Proficiency in using a pallet jack and willingness to learn forklift operation.
• Basic hand and power tool skills.
• Capability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse operations is advantageous.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Work Environment

Work in a temperature-controlled warehouse, though conditions may vary with the seasons. The team consists of only four people, fostering a close-knit and supportive atmosphere. Interact with diverse clients, including airplane companies, IT offices, grocery stores, and chocolate shops. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 7 AM to 4 PM.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Landover, MD.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
