Travel Registered Nurse Clinic Job

Overview
Registered Nurse - Radiation Oncology, Glenwood Springs, Colorado. Start date 09/22/2026 for approximately 13 weeks. Weekly pay $2,660-$2,774. Guaranteed hours 36 per week. Shift: 10-hour days, four weekdays. This is a travel - temporary assignment in a hospital-based Radiation Oncology setting.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care for Radiation Oncology patients in collaboration with the Radiation Oncologist and multidisciplinary team
- Assess patients, plan and implement nursing interventions, and monitor for actual or potential treatment-related problems
- Educate patients and families, offer counseling and supportive services to help cope with cancer diagnosis and treatment
- Coordinate oncology patient care with interdisciplinary staff, including referrals to supportive resources as needed
- Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic medical record; maintain safety and infection control standards
- Act as a liaison between Radiation Oncology and other departments, ensuring continuity of care across the treatment and follow-up phases

Requirements
- Education: RN with current Colorado license in good standing
- Licensure: Active Colorado RN license in good standing
- Certifications: BLS and ACLS (American Heart Association)
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of RN Radiation Oncology experience (not Oncology RN experience)
- Skills: Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced clinic environment; strong written and verbal communication; ability to coordinate oncology patient care with an interprofessional team
- Additional: Knowledge of care for patients across varying age groups, development stages, and cultural backgrounds; ability to work in a clinic/hospital oncology setting
