Senior Staff Technical Lead, Platforms Hardware Validation and Infrastructure

Lead system and subsystem hardware validation for data center products.Develop strategy and roadmap for test infrastructure and processes to meet future technology and portfolio requirements.Gather requirements, define high level architecture and execution strategy for product hardware validation.Collaborate closely with engineering, manufacturing, product, and deployment teams to support deployment and field support in Google data centers.Partner closely with external technology and system partners, representing Google’s technical requirements, and work extensively with software development and validation teams on qualification, verification strategy and planning.Minimum qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.8 years of experience working in a data center systems architecture, design, hardware bring-up and validation technical environment.5 years of experience in technical leadership.Preferred qualifications:PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.Experience using data analytics to inform strategies for qualification and design validation.As a part of the Google Platforms Infrastructure Engineering team, you will be responsible for the design, development, and delivery of Google’s compute and storage machines to satisfy Google Data Center internal use and external Cloud customers.
