About the Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Plant Manager to lead all aspects of manufacturing operations at a growing production facility. This individual will be responsible for driving operational excellence across production, maintenance, quality, safety, compliance, inventory management, and workforce development.
This is a high-impact leadership opportunity for a hands-on manufacturing leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a proven track record of improving plant performance, developing teams, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
What You'll Do
- Lead all daily plant operations, including production, maintenance, quality, and safety
- Drive operational efficiency, cost reduction, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Develop and execute manufacturing strategies to meet performance, quality, and customer objectives
- Manage plant budgets, capital projects, and operational performance metrics
- Lead workforce planning, employee development, and succession planning efforts
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, environmental, and company safety standards
- Partner with cross-functional teams to resolve production and operational challenges
- Oversee inventory control, production scheduling, and resource planning
- Foster a culture of accountability, engagement, and operational excellence
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business, Construction Management, or a related field
- 5+ years of plant, production, or manufacturing leadership experience
- 7-10 years total experience
- Experience leading cross-functional manufacturing teams
- Strong understanding of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement principles
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations and workplace safety practices
- Experience managing budgets, KPIs, and operational performance metrics
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in building products, construction materials, industrial manufacturing, or related industries
- Lean, Six Sigma, or operational excellence training
- Spanish language skills
- Capital project and facility expansion experience
