Quality Engineer

Job Title: Quality Engineer Reports to: Quality ManagerLocation: West Palm Beach, FL FLSA: Exempt SummaryThis position supports the Quality and Operations departments to ensure products are made to customer specifications and manufacturing teams adhere to standard company practices during the production process. Interfaces directly with internal and external customers daily.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesInterpret customer and engineering specifications to provide guidance to production teamsConduct and document First Article reviews, including communications with customersWork with customer source inspectors to present proper documentation and productsAlert and explain non-conformances to production teamsConduct containment activities for non-conforming productsApply standard quality practices in determining root causes for non-conforming productsWork with production, engineering, and quality teams to identify and implement process improvementsConduct process and product audits to support proper execution of customer requirements and adherence to company practicesAssist document control department to maintain document revision levels and release new and revised company procedures, training forms and other documentsMaintain records efficiently and accuratelyPerform other duties assigned by managerQualifications/RequirementsBachelor's degree in engineeringMinimum of three years of solid experience in the production or inspection of electromechanical products.Evidence of analytical skillsRoot Cause Analysis experience preferredKeen attention to detailProficient working with Microsoft Office products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)Quality Management System experience working within a system based on the ISO 9001 standardExperience with the AS9100 standard is a plusAbility to interpret customer specifications and requirementsAbility to use light industrial testing equipmentOrganized with good time management skillsPossess planning, analytical, and problem-solving skills with ability to comprehend simple and complex formulas for calculating measurement and probability errorsMust be able to communicate effectively (both verbally and in writing) and present yourself in a professional mannerMust be self-motivated, able to work independently and be a productive member of a multi-departmental team which is working to assure the company meets or exceeds its goalsTimes Microwave Systems is an equal opportunity employer M/F/D/V.Shift: 1st ShiftType: Full TimeDepartment: Quality
