Job Description
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join our team. This position involves working 12-hour night shifts with a total of 36 hours scheduled per week. The role requires commitment to every other weekend and holiday as needed. Please note that no on-call duties are required for this position. Job Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory therapy services to patients as prescribed by medical staff.
- Perform assessments and monitor patient responses to therapy.
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered, ensuring compliance with protocols and regulations.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Participate in patient education and advocate for best practices in respiratory care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in patient records.
- A minimum of 3 years of current experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
- Experience with Meditech Expanse is highly preferred.
- Current certifications in ACLS and PALS are preferred.
- Must possess a valid Massachusetts RRT license and an active NBRC credential.
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association is required.
- Travelers must have their own vehicle for this assignment.
- Requested time off during the assignment must be noted at the time of application; a maximum of 5 days is allowed.
- Available to work major holidays and weekends as required.
