Private Wealth/Trusts & Estates Attorney

Base Salary: $170,000 to $275,000 (DoE) + Plus Bonus Billable Requirement: 1,850 hours The Role I am seeking an Associate to join my firm client's sophisticated Private Client group. In this role, you will serve as a trusted advisor to high-net-worth individuals and families, guiding them through the complexities of estate planning, tax mitigation, and wealth preservation. Key Responsibilities Craft sophisticated estate plans that emphasize asset protection, multi-generational wealth transfer, and the minimization of estate and gift tax burdens. Navigate families through the sensitive process of trust and estate administration and probate proceedings. Advise on charitable giving strategies and tax-exempt organizations. Candidate Requirements 1+ years of dedicated experience in Trusts & Estates law (BigLaw or boutique experience preferred). Proven ability to draft complex wills, revocable and irrevocable trusts, and sophisticated tax-planning documents. Familiarity with federal and state gift/estate tax laws and probate court procedures. J.D. from an accredited law school and active membership in the Illinois Bar.
