Answer incoming calls and provide general information about Department of Health's services. Verify insurance. Transfer calls accordingly. Relay electronic messages to medical services staff. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Ability to operate telephone software and handle a high volume of incoming calls. Ability to use multiple computer programs and software such as Microsoft office to retrieve and/or input data. Strong internal and external customer service skills Ability to independently solve problems. Strong verbal and written communication skills in addition to good listening skills Strong English-Spanish bilingual proficiency Ability to work effectively and cooperatively with others.
