About the role: We're looking for a Solar Construction Project Manager on behalf of our client. This is a 2-months contract assignment (W-2). You would need to be familiar with NYSERDA and EPC project management. Location: Avon, NY 14414. Per diem available. You will report to the onsite manager. Key Responsibilities: Site Management with overseeing ground-mounted system installation and coordinating with contractors to ensure adherence to local Avon, NY solar regulations. Grid Interconnection: Will manage technical aspects of connecting high-capacity solar systems with the Solar Farm. Will handle project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and team member communication from development through commissioning. Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED. 5+ years of hands-on experience with technical installation on commercial solar systems. Need to have a strong ability to read and understand solar energy system drawings and schematics. Helpful Qualifications: A two or four-year Technical Degree Experience with Helioscope or similar solar design software Background managing commercial solar projects from 50kW to 1.5MW scale Familiarity with utility interconnection processes and AHJ permitting.
