Outdoor Garden Center Merchandiser

Hiring for our PART TIME, OUTDOOR Plant Merchandiser role! This position is SEASONALLY-BASED. This role is NOT Full-time or Year-round. Our Focus: “Excellence in Merchandising, Excellence in Care – Quality Plants Cared For by Quality Professionals” This role will service the following store(s): Store #186 - 19 Holiday Manor Court, Louisville, KY 40222 US Store #387 - 291 N Hubbards Lane, Suite 130, Saint Matthews, KY 40207 US Store #365 - 6745 Beulah Church Road, Louisville, KY 40228 US Responsibilities Display a variety of outdoor plants Maintain product displays each day Water all plant materials Develop a watering plan with the floral department manager for additional support as needed Ensure proper signage is in place Maintain a safe and clean display area Remove and record expired plant material Interact with store personnel and customers Develop a positive working relationship with store management and associates Complete report for each store serviced Document every visit using the Go Spot Check app Requirements Have a smart phone Workoutdoorsin all elements Have dependable transportation that you have access to daily Have a valid driver’s license Lift, push and carry up to 30 lbs repetitively Understand and execute planograms Use workplace mobile apps Able to assemble and tear down outdoor benching Ideal Candidate Strong communication skills Highly organized Detail Oriented Responsible, reliable and dependable work habits Self-starter / Self-motivated Ability to complete tasks with minimal supervision Previous merchandiser experience appreciated – will train strong candidates Job Types: Part-time, Seasonal Benefits On-the-job training Opportunities for advancement Paid training #J-18808-Ljbffr National Garden Service
