Who We Are Since our inception in1969, we have paired our expertise in emergency medicine witha strong culture focused on the success of our clinicians. We are a democratically governed, independent physician group, with an ownership opportunity within two years of joining. EPPA is currently staffing 7 Twin Cities metro hospitals, 1 central MN hospital, 5 regional/rural sites, and 3 Urgency Rooms (free-standing acute care clinics – owned and operated by EPPA). Patient volumes across all sites range from 9K-75K per year. We are a collegial team and partner closely with colleagues across medicine in a multi-disciplinary team setting. We have long-term, stable partnerships with our health systems and the consulting physicians across our practices. Must Haves From You Medical Doctor or Doctor of Osteopathy degree, required Board Eligible/Board Certified (BE/BC) in Emergency Medicine Current State of Minnesota MD or DO license and DEA, required Successful candidates must submit to TB testing and any vaccinations recommended by OSHA Guidelines Zone Details This position will report to our HealthPartners Zone. We stagger what sites you cover depending on your tenure at EPPA. We start everyone at our larger hospitals and then expand to regional and Urgency Room coverage as new hires feel comfortable. You do not work at all sites and will work with zone leadership on which sites you will cover. Physicians in this zone will have the opportunity to work at the following facilities: Located in St. Louis Park, Minnesota, Methodist Hospital provides excellent care, close to home.
