Officer, Security Rural

Job Description The Security Officer is responsible for providing and maintaining a safe and secure environment for patients, visitors, and staff of Amery Hospital & Clinic. Security Officers provide a variety of services including routine patrols, emergency response, public assistance, report writing, investigative services, and other duties as deemed necessary by the Manager of Security Operations. Responsibilities Patrol all areas of the hospital (internal and external) and any off‑site properties owned or operated by Amery Hospital & Clinic on a daily basis as requested. Respond to the emergency needs of the organization and its occupants when necessary. Respond to routing requests of all departments of Amery Hospital &Clinic. Report and investigate all incidents. Keep accurate documentation of all events during a scheduled shift. Provide quick registration for patients entering the emergency department. Work Schedule Night shift (11 p.m.–7 a.m.) 28 hours weekly (.7 FTE). Required Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent. Demonstrated keyboarding skill and computer knowledge. Preferred Qualifications Post–high‑school education in the field of law enforcement. One year experience in customer service. Experience in working security, law enforcement, military, or mental health.
