Precision CNC Grinding Machinist — Blueprint & Metrology Focus Role Snapshot

• Location: Warsaw, IN
• Shifts: 2nd and 3rd shift roles available
• Primary Machine: CNC Grinder (ANCA)

Create precision parts to blueprint specifications by setting up and operating ANCA CNC grinders while executing rigorous in-process inspections.

• Transform prints and operation sheets into stable, repeatable grinding processes
• Protect quality with AQL-driven checks and meticulous documentation
• Elevate the team by correcting dimensional issues and approving peers’ setups

• Operate ANCA CNC grinding equipment per established procedures and guidelines
• Set up jobs based on blueprints and work instructions
• Use calipers, micrometers, depth mics, height gauges, and an optical comparator to verify features per AQL and work instructions
• Diagnose and correct dimensional deviations; sign off on setups completed by other operators
• Maintain accurate counts of completed and scrapped parts
• Complete all production paperwork and enter data into the company database
• Comply with all policies and procedures; perform all other duties as assigned

• Proficient with precision measurement tools: calipers, micrometers (including depth), and height gauges
• Can interpret blueprints and operation sheets; solid command of GD&T
• Understands G-Code and M-Code
• Comfortable with computers and production data entry
• Strong interpersonal skills; works effectively with minimal supervision
• Ability to lift/carry 40 lbs and stand/walk for 8+ hours per day
• Willing to work overtime (daily/weekly) as scheduled
• High School Diploma or equivalent
