Receptionist at Baylor Scott & White Surgicare Rockwall The Receptionist interfaces with patients and families, physicians and staff; Admits patients and processes their paperwork; Updates patient demographics/information in system; Collects monies due and document in the billing system; Handle funds per office procedure. Answer incoming phone calls. Qualifications Education High school diploma or GED Required Experience One‑year previous experience or some hospital clerical experience or medical terminology preferred. Must have the skills necessary to operate office equipment that are required to fulfill job duties. Forty‑five (45) wpm typing skills required. Medical terminology and computer experience beneficial. Good communication skills.
