Job Opportunity: OB/GYN

We are seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible OB/GYN to become a part of our expanding Women’s Health Service Line. This role will involve rotations through our outpatient facilities located in West Islip, Babylon, and Good Samaritan University Hospital in West Islip.

In recent years, we have made significant investments in our Women’s Health Service Line to create a comprehensive, integrated program that includes specialties such as OB/GYN, gynecologic oncology, maternal-fetal medicine, urogynecology, and minimally invasive gynecologic surgery. Our OB/GYN team supports approximately 4,700 deliveries each year.

Clinical Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive care for patients with gynecologic concerns, including outpatient evaluations, inpatient management, and major surgical procedures.
• Adhere to established standards of care and uphold the ethical principles of the medical profession.
• Engage in Graduate Medical Education (GME) activities for fellows, residents, and medical students, including lectures, mentorship, and small group instruction; a strong commitment to academic medicine is essential.
• Participate in after-hours and weekend on-call duties.
• Contribute to clinical trials and quality improvement initiatives based on performance metrics.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid NYS MD or DO license.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible.
• Demonstrated clinical expertise in evaluation and management.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all organizational levels to foster a culture of patient safety and performance enhancement.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is between $312,271 and $465,235. This estimate reflects a good faith effort and actual compensation will depend on various factors, including education, training, skills, licensure, certification, competencies, and relevant experience. The stated salary does not include potential bonuses, incentive pay, or other compensation forms, nor does it account for the value of benefits.
