Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Behavioral Health Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 19:00 - 07:30 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Required RN license Certifications: Required certifications include either CPI or HWC, BLS certification preferred Must-Have: Experience in behavioral health settings Description: We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a behavioral health specialty role. The position requires a focus on the adult patient population. Common diagnoses include schizophrenia, dementia, manic bipolar disorder, psychosis, dual diagnosis, medical detox, depression, and anxiety disorders. The facility comprises multiple units with a total of 23, 20, 15, 13, and 10 beds. Patient ratios vary by unit, necessitating teamwork and collaboration among RNs and CNAs. The environment utilizes electronic health records for patient documentation. Staff may be required to work various shifts, with guaranteed hours included. The ideal candidate possesses strong skills in managing diverse behavioral health conditions and delivering compassionate care.
