Field Service Technician

This role involves daily travel to various customer sites, with an average travel time of 1-2 hours one way. The position requires a mechanically minded, problem-solving individual who enjoys diagnosing issues and working with their hands. You will be expected to work independently, manage your own schedule, and occasionally work weekends with potential overtime. Strong communication skills are essential for confidently interacting with customers and building trust. You should be adaptable, eager to learn, and committed to precision, safety, and regulatory compliance. The role involves using technology such as service software, tablets, and measurement instruments.

Responsibilities

• Travel to multiple customer sites daily, traveling within a 4-hour radius of Little Canada, MN.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
• Perform clean room certifications, including scanning HEPA filters, particle counting, and monitoring pressure, temperature, and humidity.
• Conduct preventative maintenance and repairs, such as filling holes in filters and replacing blower motors.
• Document findings and maintain customer relationships, utilizing Excel for reports.
• Model company values of integrity, openness, urgency, autonomy, and embracing change.

Essential Skills

• Mechanical aptitude and technical understanding in electromechanical systems.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to travel 50% of the time.
• Valid driver's license.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Degree from a 2-year technical college or a 4-year program preferred but not required.
• Experience with field service and Excel data entry.
• Comfortable working with technology and service software.

Work Environment

You will travel to customer sites, working in clean rooms, and with equipment like fume hoods, biosafety cabinets, medical HVAC systems, laminar flows, and autoclaves. The job requires adaptability to different customer schedules, with work starting between 7-8 am. Occasionally, overnight stays may be necessary. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $62400.00/yr. Medical: 100% for Employee & all Dependents Dental & Vision: 100% for Employee, 85% for dependents 401K: 3% Match PTO: Uncapped.
