Minneapolis Office Position Details We are seeking a Senior Associate or Lateral Attorney for our downtown Minneapolis office to practice in the area of commercial banking. Successful candidates will have seven plus years of substantive experience in a wide array of commercial banking transactions, including drafting and negotiating complex loan documentation, reviewing due diligence materials, including the diligence material for real estate and asset-based lending transactions. Candidates should also have substantive experience in construction lending, real estate and asset-based lending as well as financing for land development. Requirements A highly motivated individual with significant experience to advise on complex financial transactions, draft legal documents and ensure compliance and managing legal risk. Must have a deep understanding of banking and finance/tax laws. You must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills to advise on transactions related to structuring, negotiating and managing complex financial transactions, such as loans and other deals. Must be analytical, attention to detail, and drafting skills, along with strong commercial banking experience e with good academic and professional credentials. The successful candidate will also possess the ability to prioritize, multi-task and work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment, while working collaboratively with the rest of the team. Compensation and Bonus Information Base compensation will vary based on level of experience and practice specialty. Compensation range $175,000-250,000 depending on years and level of experience. Attorneys are also eligible for monthly, quarterly and/or annual bonus incentives based on performance. Laterals with a book of business are encouraged to apply.
