IT Analyst

Responsibilities Kforce's client in Oakland, CA is seeking an experienced and customer-focused IT Analyst to join their End User Support team on a contract basis. Summary: This individual will serve as a key onsite support resource, providing hands-on technical support to employees and ensuring a seamless end-user experience across a variety of technologies. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of IT support experience in a corporate environment and be comfortable troubleshooting hardware, software, device management, and conference room technology issues. This role requires someone who can quickly adapt, work independently, and effectively support users with minimal ramp-up time. Responsibilities: Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support for employees in a fast-paced corporate environment Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, printer, peripheral, and connectivity issues Deliver both onsite and remote support as needed Configure, image, deploy, and maintain laptops and other end-user devices Support user account lifecycle management, including onboarding and offboarding processes Deprovision and prepare devices for reassignment or disposal Assist with troubleshooting and support of Zoom conference room technology Provide walk-up support and serve as a primary IT contact for office employees Manage support requests through the ticketing system while maintaining accurate documentation Partner with internal IT teams to elevate and resolve complex technical issues Ensure a high level of customer service and professionalism in all end-user interactions Assist with device inventory management and equipment tracking Requirements 2+ years of end-user, desktop support, or IT support experience Experience supporting both Windows and Mac environments Experience imaging, deploying, and troubleshooting end-user devices Ability to support onboarding and offboarding activities Experience supporting conference room technology, preferably Zoom Rooms Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Excellent customer service and communication skills Ability to work independently in an onsite environment with minimal supervision Working Knowledge Of Jamf Microsoft Intune Okta Mobile Device Management (MDM) tools Preferred Qualifications Experience in a corporate IT support environment Familiarity with ticketing systems and IT service management processes Experience supporting executive or VIP users Knowledge of basic networking concepts and troubleshooting Experience managing hardware inventory and asset tracking The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law.
