Location: Charlotte, NC

• Contract Duration: 3 months
• Pay Rate: $46.66 $50.66 / Hour (USD)
• Shift / Schedule: Day shift, 4x10 Hours 06:00 16:30

This is an outpatient Nuclear Cardiology position performing Cardiology studies exclusively, including stress testing and Amyloid (PYP) studies. The unit serves an adult and geriatric patient population with a broad range of cardiovascular diagnoses, most commonly Coronary Artery Disease, pre-op clearance, Chest Pain, and Shortness of Breath. The average daily census is 10 12 patients at a ratio of 1:4.

• Perform Cardiology studies, including stress testing and Amyloid (PYP) studies in an outpatient Nuclear Cardiology clinic
• Conduct Rest/Stress and Amyloid (PYP) procedures
• Perform Myocardial studies including Exercise/Rest-Multiple, Exercise/Rest-Single, and Pharmacological Stress
• Start and maintain Peripheral IV access
• Handle Storing, Handling, and Disposal of Radioactive Materials per applicable regulations
• Operate specialty imaging equipment including (2) Spectrum Dynamics DSPECT cameras, Hot Lab Equipment, Dose Calibrator, and Well Counter
• Utilize EPIC for unit documentation and charting
• Schedule and perform procedures per clinic needs

• Adult and Nuclear Cardiology work settings experience
• Rest/Stress and Amyloid (PYP) procedures
• Exercise/Rest-Multiple, Exercise/Rest-Single, and Pharmacological Stress myocardial studies
• Ability to start and maintain Peripheral IV
• Storing, Handling, and Disposal of Radioactive Materials
• EPIC experience
• Minimum 2 years of experience required

• Outpatient Clinic experience
• ACLS certification

• BLS certification required
• ARRT (N) or CNMT certification required
• Flu vaccination required (Medical/Religious exemptions only)

• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• First-time travelers accepted
• Local candidates accepted

• Outpatient Cardiology clinic setting
• Patient age group: Adults/Geriatrics
• Average daily census: 10 12 patients; ratio 1:4
• 10-hour day shifts, 06:00 16:30
• No call requirement
• No float requirement
• No weekend requirement
• Scrubs not provided; Royal Blue preferred
• In-clinic orientation: 40 hours
• Scheduling type: Per clinic needs

• RTO (Return to Origin) after booking is NOT allowed and is NOT allowed to be worked out onsite. Any call-offs or additional RTO on unit could result in a contract cancellation and DNR (Do Not Rehire).
• The expected start date is based on the facility's schedule but is subject to change depending on class and trainer availability. Travelers may start on Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday of the first week, and must be fully available with no other commitments to accommodate any schedule changes. Missing any portion of orientation may result in a delayed or canceled start.
• The facility will confirm the final start date on the Tuesday prior to the start week.
