Workers Compensation Claim Adjuster

Position Workers Compensation Claim Adjuster Location Chatsworth, CA 91311 Compensation Pay: $35/hr. On W2 Duration 6+ months (temp to permanent) Shift 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday Responsibilities Investigate compensability for Workers Compensation claims Handle new losses and verify accuracy of information Communicate with insureds, clients, and other customers Conduct claim investigations via phone and email to injured workers, medical providers, and employers Handle jurisdictional notices, benefit payments, scheduling medical appointments, and file necessary forms Review medical reports to determine compensability of claims Assist the Special Investigation Unit when necessary Collaborate with attorney representation to strategize case resolution Perform additional administrative duties for the team as assigned Qualifications College graduate Workers Compensation experience preferred Strong customer orientation to respond to and support customer needs Excellent written and oral communication skills for dealing with outside investigative sources and insureds by telephone Strong analytical and organizational ability Computer proficiency in an automated environment Typing speed of 35‑45 wpm required Team player who gives and solicits feedback, identifies growth opportunities for self and others Confidence in own judgment and ability to support or defend decisions Commitment to high standards of behavior and performance Adaptability to varying situations Ability to build and maintain a positive image for Chubb and ESIS Benefits Kelly offers eligible employees voluntary benefit plans including medical, dental, vision, telemedicine, term life, whole life, accident insurance, critical illness, a legal plan, and short‑term disability.
