Quality Engineer – Manufacturing
\n \nLocation: Jefferson City, TN
\nPay: $60,000–$70,000 annually
\nSchedule: 1st Shift | Monday–Friday
\nEmployment Type: Full-Time
\n \nAbout the Opportunity
\nAegis Worldwide is seeking a hands-on Quality Engineer for a well-established manufacturing company in the Jefferson City, TN area. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to grow their engineering career while working directly with production teams to improve quality, troubleshoot issues, and drive continuous improvement.
\nResponsibilities
\n- \n
- Investigate quality concerns and implement corrective actions through root cause analysis. \n
- Support manufacturing operations and resolve production-related quality issues. \n
- Develop and maintain PPAP documentation, Control Plans, and PFMEAs. \n
- Assist with internal and customer quality audits. \n
- Utilize SPC and other quality tools to monitor and improve processes. \n
- Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to maintain product standards. \n
Qualifications
\n- \n
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field preferred. \n
- Experience in manufacturing or quality engineering; relevant internships considered. \n
- Familiarity with PPAP, APQP, PFMEA, and root cause analysis. \n
- Understanding of ISO 9001 or IATF 16949 standards preferred. \n
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and GD&T. \n
- Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills. \n

- Candidates must be able to reliably commute to the facility . \n
